Mount Avala Shoot – Under The Stars
PRE WEDDING SESSION
These two are two people who found hearts in the deepest of oceans, the highest mountains, and the tallest trees and towers. They have a journey of life through nature. Because they found the greatest location to make their memories.
Avala tower is a tall telecommunication tower located on Mount Avala, in Belgrade. Interesting facts about it is that the original tower was finished in 1965, but was destroyed on 29 April 1999, during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. The tower’s reconstruction commenced on 21 December 2006 and it was officially opened on 21 April 2010. Nowadays, Avala is a tourist complex that has a bunch of visitors which includes, among other facilities, a restaurant, ethno-gallery, souvenir shops, sports fields.
Aleksandra wore a special dress from Rose Clara designer. She revolutionized the wedding fashion sector by connecting with a new generation of brides who were looking for more fashion and individuality in their dress for the big day. Elegance and allure unite in this awesome dress, a breathtaking interpretation of the princess wedding dress. This is a wedding dress where romance and nature blend seamlessly with modernity. Aleksandra looked like an angel.
When we came up to the end of Avala Mount we have walked together to “The Monument to the Unknown Hero”. All of a sudden magic happened in the air. Like the enchantress had used her magic wand and put the air under the spell full of incredible colors. When we say magic we are thinking about a blue hour. Blue hour is a great way to convey certain emotions in your photos that may otherwise be tricky to capture. Images from blue hour are generally dark and high in contrast. The color blue also carries its range of emotions: serenity, sadness, peace, and in this case love.
We love these kinds of shoots prior to the wedding day, because it opens new possiblities. You can read more about it on our magazine post on this link.
THE WEDDING DAY
This wedding was in the clouds, up to the peak of the tower, in the awesome decored Hyde Park Restaurant, and away from the heat and bustle. Looked like a dream! Incredible lightness, airiness and softness, that’s what defines this shooting. The day started with the godfather in the apartment. Of course with a few glasses of Serbian traditional drink called rakija, nothing can’t pass. Hyde Park Restaurant was the next location.
Hyde Park Restaurant is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Belgrade, authentic, and unique. When you step over the threshold, you will instantly teleport to the past. Fireplaces, candlesticks, heavy draperies, numerous reproductions, patterned wallpaper, a huge wooden door that leads to a beautiful paved garden, and then to a green garden, richly surrounded by vegetation. Chairs and tables in Hyde Park Restaurant are richly upholstered and covered with floral patterns, jugs, and vases of flowers on each table which girls from Musmula Studio made to look perfectly good.
Music was a bit different than people get used to. It was an Italian guy who started with full emotions so the mission was complete from the beginning. The energy was at the top level. People were dancing and the couple was the most shining star in the middle of the constellation.
